Experts said that dining business class on Emirates was comparable to dining at a five-star restaurant, and praised the airline for their attention to detail. If you’re lucky enough to be flying in the airlines A380 in either business or first you can also spend some time relaxing in the in-flight lounge, where you’ll find and endless supply of drinks and appetisers.
If you fly to Japan with Nipon Airways you can expect to eat delicious sushi. Qantas Airlines serves sea bass and broccoli on their flights to Sydney, while TAM Premium Business offers some of the best cuts of meat you’ll find in the air. Expect to try Brazilian Beef Fillet or Argentinean Beef when flying with the South American Airline, and be sure to save room for dessert- a delicious, moist chocolate cake with berries.
Anyone flying long-haul first-class or business with Turkish will have a chef on the plane who will be preparing meals for those lucky passengers. Turkish received an outstanding mention by Saveur, and you can expect to have plenty of lip-licking options to chose from when flying this airline. WorldAirlineAwards named Turkish Airlines the Best Business Class Lounge Dining, and Best Business Class Airline Catering, for their commitment to providing superior food in the air.
Etihad has an inflight chef as well, and the customised meals include grilled steaks, while Singapore Airlines has an International Culinary Panel which is made up of some of the best chefs int he world, working with the airline’s chefs to develop dishes and create menus.
Cathay Pacific allows passengers in all cabins to choose between Western and Asian dishes (the dark vinegar braised Pork is especially good), South Africa Airways has a crayfish and chicken timbale to die for, and Qatar Airways knows how to do ice cream and coffee.
